Kayaking in mizzly, drizzly weather is fine too. Just add a rainproof jacket. We will progressively challenge ourselves, from dams/lakes, to rivers and ultimately to the sea. We found we had to put one puff on air into the seat bottoms and six into the seat backs. This lowers one’s centre of gravity, making the vessel more buoyant, hence safter.
