PCK moves to a new location – Unit 5, 19-25 Grange Rd, Cheltenham

PCK has moved! We’re now located at unit 5, 19-25 Grange Rd, Cheltenham directly behind Moorabbin Airport and just down the road from DFO. We will be open most Saturday morning’s (& by appointment), commencing in a couple of weeks, and to celebrate we’ll be having a massive opening sale across all current stock. Stay tuned!

PCK & Plastex appoint a Youth Brand Ambassador – Kieren Carson

PCK & Plastex are proud to announce the appointment of Kieren Carson as a Youth Brand Ambassador, joining Sebastian Marczak & Matt Goble as exclusive members of PCK’s Brand Ambassadorship program. Kieren continues to impress after only commencing his paddling career in the last couple of years, his most recent individual achievement winning the U18 K1 200m & 500m at Nationals in Perth. We look forward to supporting Kieren’s paddling career, next stop – U23 World Championships in Canada in August.

Ocean Racing Ski Review – Elio Mazu Pro vs. Epic V10

Having now paddled the Elio Mazu for 3 months it’s time for a quick review against my other ski, a V10. Elio, much better known for their sprint boats, has made their 1st attempt at an LD ski with the Mazu Pro. The Mazu Pro is 420mm wide, short for an advanced ski at 6.27 meters, I have the sport version which is a 13 kg carbon/ carbon Kevlar sandwich construction and this ski just gets better and better the more you paddle it! With London 2012 only a day away now Sebastian Marczak, a PCK Plastex Ambassador, shares his European World Cup prep experience for London prior to going into ‘lock down’ in Rome for the last fortnight: World cup 2 Duisburg: My training and preparation leading up to this regatta was very good and solid.
